ITS continues to work the Proofpoint DNS issue impacting inbound and outbound mail flow across USC. The incident was caused by a configuration synchronization failure within the GTM infrastructure, and service has been restored by rolling back to a known-good GTM configuration.
Customer connectivity and message processing are now recovering toward normal operations, while Engineering and Network Operations teams continue to investigate the underlying synchronization issue. Service stability is being closely monitored following the rollback. An estimated time of restoration is currently unavailable.
